***This is a true story***
I was in fourth grade, and my best friend since second grade was moving. it was her last day at the school, so of course we were running around like madwomen.
There were three of us. For their privacy, the one who was moving away was Z. The one who was staying was K.
Z was a crazy little girl. She asked strange questions in class, she never got embarrassed or uncomfortable, and her hair was in a permanent bob.
K was more quiet. She was the animal lover. She lived on a farm (sort of), she was always drawing something, and she was super intense sometimes.
I, however, was the nerdiest nerd of them all. I was the girliest one, but I was also the one who was accepted by everyone else.
K and Z were the oddballs of my class. They had other friends, but their other friends were also outcasts. I was the one who didn't need to be friends with them at first, but I think I ended needing the group the most. Yes, I was accepted, but I was a loner. I didn't fit in, I just didn't stand out.
So, it was Z's last day at the school. K and I were carrying her around, laughing and crying hysterically. We heard a shout, and decided to see what it was about. We walked over to a tree on the corner of the grass area of the playground, and there was a green bullsnake. Sadly, that was the most exciting thing of the day, but it was something.
Z, of course, being the person she was, named the snake Fluffy. Only she would name a snake Fluffy, and say it with a completely straight face.

So, Yeah.
I'm really bad about blogging. Like seriously bad. But I love it, I do.
So... Yeah.
For all you people who don't know who I am, I think it's finally time to introduce myself. My name is Mariana Lee. I am an avid writer and reader, but I do put reading aside so I can write more.
Think of it this way: Reading is a way to escape my problems, but writing is a way for me to fix them.
I don't have a lot of very close friends, so my closest friends are my characters. I pour myself into my writing, make a happy ending, and then my problems in reality are solved because I know that everything will work out in the end.
So... Yeah.
I am obsessed with many things, including Percy Jackson, Doctor Who, Good Witch, Criminal Minds, Gallagher Girls, Ruelle, Cher Lloyd, and Now You See Me.
Also, The Girl and the Dreamcatcher.

War
What is war? According to Dictionary.com, war is “a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation”. War is black, death, and destruction. War breaks some people, but others? They're strengthened. They rise so far above what everyone expected them to. They become amazing, calm, and invincible. But for those who break, sometimes they never heal. They stay in a state of everlasting pain and misery, remembering what it was like to be giants, knowing that they can never be tall again. Those who are strong, they are now the giants. They are great; forever. They'll never fade back into oblivion, or be forgotten. They will be legends, warriors, and heroes. They refuse to be mistaken, overlooked, or invisible. They are the crazy ones. They don't do it because they don’t know how much horror it will bring, they do it because they know, and they don't want anyone to have to endure it. Live while you can, die when you must, and don’t be forgotten; That is their motto. Life is fragile, but legends are not.War is not about winning, or losing, or living, or dying. It is about saving as many innocents as you can, while taking as much evil as humanly possible down with you. It is about life, light, and freedom, not death, darkness, or slavery. Legends don’t go to war to kill people, they go to war to save them. Why shouldn't you? Go to war to save people. Go to war to be free, or die trying. You can be a legend, a hero, a warrior. You can be a giant.Take a chance, be legendary.

Be Remembered
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching.
-Gerard Way
My life is craziness. Pure insanity. But I love it, because it's worth something. It's interesting, overwhelming, and beautiful. It's like a book, but you get to be a part of it.
You don't get a good life, and you don't get a bad life. You get a life. So make it worth living. Make it something that people will read about for centuries. Make it legendary.
For years, this is all I've wanted. I've wanted to be somebody who makes a difference. Someone who touches millions. I want to be like Gandhi, Shakespeare, Plato, Mother Teresa, Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr., Thomas Edison, Eleanor Roosevelt, and so many others.
I want to be remembered.
